The media about "SALVATION":
SONIC SEDUCER (German Print Magazine)
Listening to the first song of this strong debut album, it dawned on me
that these four musicians are truly honest workers. And this a lucky
fact for the gothic rock genre because in the last years we had to
witness a torrent of bands that failed trying to sail in the wake of
giants like HIM or The 69 Eyes. Rozencrantz are in a completely
different league alltogether: They are playing in their very own
league. Time defying songs like the fresh opener „Forsaken“ or the
hypnoticly longing „Bound to you“ are clear proof of the importance
this exceptional band will have for the German gothic scene. As if time
has stopped these sovereign visionaries of quality and originality
endulge themselves into the 80ies, a time when exceptional bands still
were able to turn heads. This fact does not mean Rozencrantz can not
stand up to the demands of our times. And so they refresh to listener
with authentic feeling and fresh song structures without fake pathos.
Skye, Rozencantz's lead singer proofs to be a vocal chameleon with his
mutiple vocal styles. This gothic rock band could simply not have found
a better and more passionate singer. Author: Markus Eck
GOTHIC FAMILY
[...]I am getting goosebumps! Boys and girls out there, if you dig goth
rock like Dreadful Shadows, or dark wave like Clan of Xymox of Pink
Turns Blue, you've got to get this CD and discover dark melodic worlds
of sound.[...]
GOTHIC AND ART
[...]Personally I am totaly flabbergasted by Rozencrantz's
"Salvation" album. It rocks, has a lot of feeling, and Skye's voice
fits the music wonderfully.[...]The songs show a broad variety of
styles - no song sounds like another, and this shows the band's
creativity. "Salvation" is a great goth rock album with a few good
electronic nuances, that fit the music well. Everybody who's into dark,
rocky songs with an authentic atmosphere and great vocals should check
out this album in any case.
AMBOSS MAG
[...]A solid album full of dark harmony, soft agony, a dreamlike elegance and enchanting wave music.[...] |
